Stanislaus State Athletics

Dean had the distinction of being the first freshman to win the Most Valuable Player award for the Northern California Athletic Association in 1981.  During his four-year career as a Warrior, he earned All American honors four times, was named third team twice and second team twice.  He was a major contributor to the Warriors winning national championships for two of his years of competition.  Dean was All NCAC for four years and was first team twice.
