SEATTLE, Wash.---  Stan State's Najwa Chouati moved up to 16^th in the nation in NCAA Division II with her time of 16:31.8 this afternoon at the Ken Shannon Last Chance Meet in Seattle, Washington.  Chouati finished second in her heat while Clara Mayfield (unattached) captured the heat with a time of 16:21.60.
 
She joins teammate Kaela Dishion that are in the top 20 in the nation.  Dishion is currently 12^th in the nation with her time of 16:28.6 that she ran on Jan. 26.  
 
Stan State's Annie Wild will compete in the 800-meter run at the mile tomorrow at the Ken Shannon Last Chance Meet to improve her times and placement in the nation.
 
The field for the 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships will be announced Tuesday, February 27 at 6:00 p.m. (ET) on www.ncaa.com.  This year's championships are set for March 7-9 in Pittsburg, Kansas, at the Robert W. Plaster Center on the campus of Pittsburg State University.
