WALNUT CREEK -- Cal State Stanislaus outfielder Douglas Porras has been named the Wilson/California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Player of the Week for the week of April 26 - May 2, it was announced on Monday.

Porras, a senior from Morgan Hill, Calif., had a weekend to remember as he closed out his collegiate career at Cal State Dominguez Hills. After going 3-for-9 in the first three games against the Toros, he went 4-for-4, reached base in all six plate appearances, scored six times, hit four home runs and collected 10 RBI on Sunday.

Porras finished the series 7-for-13 (.538) with seven runs scored, four home runs and 11 RBI. In the series finale, he hit a solo home run in the first, a three-run blast in the third and a two-run shot in the fourth. After walking in the sixth, Porras hit another three-run homer in the seventh and was hit by a pitch in the ninth.

Porras' four home runs set the Cal State Stanislaus single-game record and tied the CCAA mark, while his 10 RBI set a conference record and his six runs scored equaled the league mark. His four home runs were one shy of the NCAA Division II record of five.
