TURLOCK -- Cal State Stanislaus head women's soccer coach Gabriel Bolton announced the hiring of Jennifer Rosenberg today as assistant women's soccer coach.

Rosenberg brings a wealth of club, high school and club coaching experience to the Warriors.  She replaces Adrienne Sorenson who recently was named the head women's soccer coach at Delta College.

“We are very lucky to have Jenni joining our staff as a full-time assistant,” said Bolton.  “She brings a tremendous amount of enthusiasm, energy and soccer knowledge to our program.”

In 2009, Rosenberg was a volunteer with the Warriors while obtaining her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology.

“I'm excited to take the next step in my professional career,” said Rosenberg.  “I love Cal State Stanislaus and this is a great opportunity for me to work with a program and a group of women I really believe in.”

Since completing her college playing career at Cal State Stanislaus in 2005 she has been coaching in the Central Valley.  Her coaching stints include three years at Beyer High School in Modesto as well as two seasons at Oakdale High School.  She has also been coaching club in Turlock with Turlock FC for the past four years.

In 2002 Rosenberg was the assistant women's soccer coach at Merced College.

Rosenberg was born and raised in Ashland, Ore. Prior to wearing the Red and Gold, Rosenberg spent two seasons at Merced College and also attended Southern Oregon University.
