Mark Jones III capped a standout weekend by recording a season high in points with 15 and a season-high six assists in Saturday’s 72–68 comeback win, finishing 4-for-7 from the field and a perfect 7-for-7 at the free-throw line while making key decisions late to close out the game. Combined with his 12-point, second-half effort in Friday’s 79–77 victory over Cal State Monterey Bay, Jones averaged 13.5 points per game, shot an efficient 61.5 percent from the field (8-for-13), and totaled eight assists over the two games.
