Lloyd French has been named the Donna Pierce Warrior of the Week after a standout performance that helped keep Stan State in the CCAA postseason race. The senior poured in a career-high 19 points in a 70-53 road win at Cal Poly Pomona and followed with 17 points in a narrow 73-72 overtime loss at Cal State San Bernardino, totaling 36 points on the weekend. French shot an efficient 52.2 percent from the field, 40 percent from three-point range and 76.9 percent from the free throw line while adding four rebounds, three steals and a block. He scored in double figures in both contests and delivered timely baskets in key stretches, helping the Warriors secure a critical road victory and remain firmly in the conference playoff hunt. His offensive consistency, efficiency and veteran leadership keyed a 1-1 conference showing and provided stability on both ends of the floor.
