Alexis Niño continued her outstanding season with provisional national qualifying marks and top all-time program performances in both the hammer throw and shot put at the Sunbird Invitational. Niño posted a 175-11 (53.62m) mark in the hammer and followed with a 46-4 (14.12m) effort in the shot put, which ranks second in program history. She also currently ranks 10th nationally in the shot put as the postseason approaches.
