Senior second baseman Malia Babasa led Stan State to a 3-2 week against strong West Region competition, batting .389 (7-for-18) with five RBI and four runs scored. She recorded hits in four of five games with three multi-hit performances, including a three-RBI game against Northwest Nazarene and a 2-for-5, two-RBI effort in a win over Central Washington. Defensively, Babasa totaled 19 putouts and 10 assists at second base, turned a double play, and posted a .968 fielding percentage, providing steady play up the middle during the Warriors’ three-game winning streak.
