Stan State pitcher Alexandria “YaYa” Himes went 2-0 with two complete games in the Warriors’ CCAA series against Cal State San Bernardino. She tossed 14.0 innings, allowing just two earned runs on 10 hits while striking out six and holding the Coyotes to a .200 batting average. Himes opened the series with a complete-game 4-2 win before returning the next day to throw a four-hit shutout in a 5-0 victory, helping the Warriors secure back-to-back conference wins.
