Alexis Nino earns Donna Pierce Warrior of the Week recognition after an impressive showing across the Stanford Invitational and Brutus Hamilton Invitational. Nino opened the weekend at Stanford with a season-best 180-7 (55.04m) in the hammer throw, a mark that ranks 10th in NCAA Division II, meets the provisional qualifying standard, and keeps her sixth all-time in program history. She also recorded a shot put mark of 46-10.25 (14.28m) at Stanford to lead the Warriors. Nino followed that performance at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational with another strong hammer throw of 173-2 (52.78m), once again leading the team in the event.
