Maragos helped Stan State open CCAA play with a 2-0 record, highlighted by a five-point performance in the Warriors’ 3-0 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Maragos recorded her first brace of the season and the second of her career against the Toros. She scored twice, including the game-winning goal, and added an assist for a match-high five points. Both of Maragos’ career two-goal performances have come against Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Maragos also helped the Warriors secure a 2-1 victory over Cal State Monterey Bay as Stan State won both matches during the opening weekend of CCAA play.
Maragos and the Warriors take their five-match unbeaten streak on the road this weekend for a pair of CCAA matches. Stan State will face No. 25 Cal State Los Angeles at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, at University Stadium in Los Angeles before traveling to face Cal State San Marcos at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, at The Cage in San Marcos.
