Freshman setter Nicki Brown had the breakthrough week the coaching staff and her teammates had been looking for to pick up her first collegiate win in her second start. The rookie signal-caller managed the offense to a .276 hitting percentage, while putting away seven kills herself in the win against Central Washington. She dished off a 54 assists with nine digs on Friday and had 58 assists and 17 digs the next day when the Warriors nearly upset No. 19 BYU Hawaii.
