At the UW Open on Sunday, Krystal threw a personal best 17.23 meters (56 feet, 6.5 inches) in the weight throw for a NCAA provisional qualifying mark. Her new distance is the team best right now among three "B" qualifers (Lindsay McKee, Channing Wilson).
