Jordan continues to be masterful on the mound as he threw a second consecutive complete game in Saturday's 5-2 win over Cal State San Marcos. Kron, while not dominating like his last start, was efficient in the outing when team needing pitching arms during a six-game in five-day stretch. Kron did not allow an earned run and gave up four hits in the complete game victory. He did walk five but limited damage and struck out two. CSUSM's two runs were scored without a hit due to two Stanislaus errors. Kron, who threw a 2-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts last Saturday at San Bernardino, has allowed just one earned run in his last 26 innings of work.
