In a must-win game for the Warriors, Ryan stepped up and provided the much needed pitching arm by shutting down Sonoma State in a 7-inning complete game shutout on Saturday. In response to SSU's win in game one of the doubleheader, Paramo quiet the Seawolf offense that made a lot of noise in game one. Paramo gave up just five hits (all singles) in the victory with four strikeouts. At one point, he retired 12 consecutive batters.
