Franchesca was third at the inaugural Stanislaus State Multis, leading three Warriors in the top six.

Shepard cracked into the top five in the CCAA with her performance over the course of two days by placing third with a Heptathlon total of 4,305 points. Her best showing on Friday was an impressive win in the javelin throw with a distance of 40.73 meters, a personal best. Shepard also came in third in the long jump (5.00m) and  ran the final event of 800-meter in 2:46.67.

Her new heptathlon total bettered her previous tally of 3,982 points from Feb. 22 in Chico. Shepard is also now the team's leader in the javelin throw.
