Stanislaus State Athletics

Flavio Perez (baseball) was the Department's Male Newcomer of the Year.  Perez led the Warriors with his .309 batting average, 32 runs batted in, 64 hits, fourteen doubles, and .444 slugging percentage.  The junior third baseman tied for the team lead with four home runs and one triple.  He finished tied for fourth with his 24 runs scored.  Perez posted a .940 fielding percentage at the hot corner.  He played a key role in the Warriors returning to the CCAA Baseball Championships this season.
