FRESHMEN OF THE YEAR
This years' Stan State Female and Male Freshmen of the Year recipients are women's cross country/track and field student-athlete Annie Wild and men's cross country/track and field student-athlete Nate Olsen.

Wild was named the CCAA Track & Field Championships Female Freshman of the Meet. She provisionally qualified for Outdoor Nationals in the 800 and 1500-meter run. Wild was the CCAA Champion in both events. She is in the top ten at Stan State in both the 800 and 1500-meter run events and holds the school record for the mile. During the cross country season, she finished 13^th and helped the Warriors to a second-place team finish.

Olsen was named the CCAA Men's Cross Country Freshman of the Year as he finished the highest of any freshman at the CCAA Cross Country Championships by placing 33^rd. He captured the 5K at the Kim Duyst Invitational and placed fourth in the 3,000-steeplechase at the CCAA Track and Field Championships. Olsen broke the school record in the 3,000-steeplehcase with his NCAA Division II provisional time at the Franson Last Chance Meet.
