Ponce played a key role in the Warriors’ earning a point in their CCAA opening weekend.  He started in and played the full 90 minute in both matches.  The freshman midfielder recorded a shot a goal attempt in the Warriors’ scoreless draw with Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday evening.  For the season, Ponce has one assist with six shot attempts including two on goal in nine matches (all starts). The Vacaville native has played in all 90 minutes in each of Stan State’s last three matches.
