Stanislaus State Athletics

The Warrior softball team swept the weekend’s four-game CCAA series with rival Chico State at home to improve to 4-4 in conference games.  Stan State defeated the Wildcats 5-2, 5-4, 3-2, and 1-0 in ten innings.  Karli DalBianco’s one-out run scoring double brought in Malia Babasa with the game-winning run in the tenth.  Recording victories in the circle for Stan State were:  Sasha Martello, Shelby Frutoz, Victoria Alarcon, and Bree Barner.
