Wild had an impressive weekend at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., this weekend. Â She started the weekend improving her NCAA DII provisional time in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:08.76, which placed her 56th in the field consisting of the top runners in NCAA DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA. Â She is now 16th in the nation, first in the CCAA, and fourth on the Warriors' top ten list. Â The Warrior sophomore finished the weekend breaking the eleven-year old Stan State record in the 1500-meter run with a NCAA DII provisional time of 4:19.67 in the 1500-meter run, which placed her 28th in the field. Â She is now sixth in the nation, first in the CCAA and first in the Warrior record books. Â The previous record was held by current Stan State assistant coach Courtney Heiner (4:20.05).
Â
