In the Warriors' 4-1 win over WWU on Saturday, Stan State captain Villanueva played a pivotal role, assisting on three of the team's four goals. He also helped limit WWU to just seven shot attempts, including only four on target. His first assist came in the 35th minute, setting up Sebastian Carbajal. He followed that with a second assist in the 50th minute on a goal by Kenneth Solares. Villanueva completed his impressive performance with a final assist in the 76th minute, finding Emmanuel Duran for the score.
