The senior goalkeeper opened the week with two saves, including a clutch stop with seven minutes remaining to secure a 1-0 win over No. 19 Menlo on Thursday evening.
The Keyes, Calif., native followed that performance with a season-high four saves in the Warriors’ 1-0 road victory at Dominican on Saturday. Ruiz-Hernandez now owns three solo shutouts and has combined on another, carrying a 0.34 goals-against average through six matches this season.
