Sanchez-Silva shined at the UC Riverside Invitational, placing third in the women’s 6K with a time of 20:23.1 (5:28 mile pace). She led the 16th-ranked Stan State women to a second-place team finish as the top Division II program in the field, ahead of UC Irvine, Sacramento State, Cal Baptist, and Utah Tech. Teammate Annie Wild also finished in the top five.
