Adrian Yepez continued to be a steady presence in the midfield for No. 3 Stanislaus State this weekend, playing a major role in both Warrior victories on the road. Yepez was involved in three of the Warriors’ four goals, totaling a goal and two assists across the two matches. He scored his first career game-winner in the 71st minute of Friday’s 3-2 victory at Cal State San Bernardino and assisted on the decisive goal in Sunday’s 1-0 triumph at No. 16 Cal Poly Pomona. His poise, precision, and playmaking were key in keeping the Warriors’ unbeaten season rolling.
