POMONA --- Kasie Rozario scored in the 108th minute as the Cal State Stanislaus women's soccer upset No. 24 Cal Poly Pomona, 1-0, in double overtime Friday evening at Kellogg Field.

Rozario's score at 107:15 was set up by Cherie Early. Rozario found the back of the net from about 10 feet out as the Warriors improved to 6-3-1 overall and 4-0-1 in the CCAA in first place atop of the North Division. Earlier today, the Warriors found out their 1-0 lost to Sonoma State would be revised into a forfeit victory because SSU used an ineligible player in its firsts even matches of the season.

Cal Poly Pomona, which out-shot the Warriors 18-9 with seven shots on goal, dropped to 6-2 overall and 3-2 in the CCAA. The Broncos' only other loss was to UC San Diego.

"It was just a great game offensively and defensive for 110 minutes," CSUS head coach Gabe Bolton said. "Cal Poly (Pomona) is a great team and we played well enough to win the game."

Warrior goalkeeper Jessica Sitarz again turned in a stellar performance guarding the net and Bolton credit it to her hard work and the work of assistant coach Bre Vaughan. Sitarz had seven saves, including a number of "awesome" ones, according to Bolton. The shutout is Sitarz's fourth of the year and she has not allowed a score in more than 212 minutes, dating back to the 1-0 loss at Sonoma State.

The Warriors will try and make it three in-a-row when they visit Cal State San Bernardino (3-4-2, 0-4-1 CCAA) on Sunday.
