Turlock- The Warriors were defeated in three games by Cal State Monterey Bay, 31-29, 30-23, 30-24, Saturday at Warrior arena.

The Warriors could not sustain the momentum they collected Friday night in their victory over Sonoma State, their first CCAA win. Cal State Stanislaus could not seem to put away points on a tough Otter defense.

Debbie Vander Schaaf had 11 kills bringing her total to 25 for the weekend. Colleen Sullivan worked hard as the Warriors setter with 31 assists. Karly Van Foeken and Megan Loghry both had 7 kills each. Courtney Taubert was the team leader for the Otters with 14 kills and had 16 digs. Monterey Bay's, Kimberly Sordello dominated the net with 12 kills and 4 blocks.

The Warriors will be playing back at home on October 10 against Chico State at 7:00 p.m. at Warrior Arena.
