SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco State had a strong offensive night while Cal State Stanislaus made too many errors as the host Gators defeated the Warriors in women's volleyball in straight sets, 25-15, 25-15, 25-13.
Kyle Lamet and Beth Perkins had 11 and 10 kills to lead SF State as the Gators improved to 13-15 and 6-13 in the CCAA. Cal State Stanislaus dropped to 6-23 overall and 3-16 the conference play heading into Saturday's season finale at Cal State Monterey Bay.
Jen Gee led the Warriors with 11 kills on 27 attempts but had seven errors.
Lianne Vicchio added nine kills with eight errors in 26 attempts. In all, the Warriors had 20 attacking errors and posted a .145 percentage.
Megan Loghry had five kills (.364).
San Francisco State was 38-for-72 with seven errors as a team for a .431 percentage. The Gators got nine kills and seven digs from Lisa Morgan and setter Mary Maiocco had 34 assists.
