SAN FRANCISCO — A day after turning in a high-percentage night shooting from the floor, the Warriors women's basketball team had a different story Saturday at the Swamp at San Francisco State in losing to the Gators, 66-51.

Cal State Stanislaus shot 30 percent from the floor — 19 for 63 — as the Warriors split on the current road trip and falls to 6-14 overall and 4-10 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

With Cal State L.A. playing one of the top teams in the league in Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday, the Warriors had a good chance of getting into the top 8 in the CCAA. Stanislaus, however, will remain a game out of the race for a berth in the conference tournament with six games remaining.

San Francisco State improved to 11-10 overall and 8-6 in the CCAA and moved into fifth place in league play. The top eight teams qualifies for the inaugural CCAA conference championship tournament in March.

Lysandra Williams led the Warriors on Saturday night with 18 points, but was just 7-for-20 from the field. She also connected on four three throws and pulled a team-best seven rebounds. The usually prolific Shristy Kumar was 4-for-13 and finished with 12 points, Katie Busi and Christin Gowan each chipped in eight.

The Gators were led by Jessica Hout-Freeman with 19 points and Brio Rode added 12. San Francisco State led for most of the game and led by as many as 18 with 6:43 left in the game.

Stanislaus shot nearly 50 percent for most of the game in Friday's win over Cal State Monterey Bay before finishing the game 26-for-58 (45 percent).
