SAN FRANCISCO -- A header goal by SFSU's Dylan Glass proved to be the game winner, as a late goal was all the offense the Warriors could muster in a 2-1 loss against the Gators.
Glass headed in a goal off of a cross from Robert Maeda in the 70th minute to put the Gators up 2-0 with 20 minutes to play.
John Powell scored the Warriors' lone goal off an assist from
Andrew Ruiz in the 83rd minute, a score that would have tied the game without Glass' score.
The loss is the Warriors' sixth in a row, and fifth one-goal loss in six games. Their record is now 1-6-1 overall and 0-6-0 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. San Francisco State improves to 4-5-1 overall and 2-4-0 in CCAA play.
