Lianne Vicchio had 11 kills and 10 digs for her 11th double-double of the season, but the Cal State Stanislaus volleyball team lost for the sixth straight time Wednesday night.
Makenzie Snyder had 15 kills and 10 digs and Gillian Heydorff added 10 kills and 10 digs as Chico State defeated the Warriors in three, 25-17, 25-19, 25-21 at Acker Gym.
Chico State improved to 20-6 overall and 11-5 in the California Collegiate Athletic Associate while Stanislaus dropped to 8-16 and 2-14 in the CCAA.
Amanda Pielstick had 11 of the team's 42 digs Wednesday night and two other Warriors
Lauren Charles and
Jessica Lehner each had seven digs to account for most of the team's defense.
Cal State Stanislaus did out-block Chico State, 14-9, overall but was just .088 offensively with 28 kills, 19 errors on 102 total tries.
Lehner, the freshman setter for CSUS, also had six kills and 20 assists.
Janay Bankston chipped in with five kills.
Cal State Stanislaus will be home this weekend with a Friday match against No. 2-ranked UC San Diego and a Saturday night contest against Cal State East Bay. Both matches are at 7 p.m. in Warrior Arena.
