Lianne Vicchio finished off her sophomore season with another double-double, but the Warriors could not spoil senior night for Cal State Dominguez Hills at the Torodome.
Vicchio had 14 kills and 18 digs for her 15th double-double of the season but the Warriors felt to the Toros in a closely contested match, 25-20, 29-27, 25-19. The Warriors end the season 10-20 overall and 4-18 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. CSUDH picked up its second win of the year to finish 2-26, 2-19 CCAA.
Vicchio finishes the season with 362 kills for the season to lead the Warriors. Thursday night the sophomore outside hitter from Fair Oaks was 14 for 46 with five errors. Bankston, a freshman outside hitter from Denair, tallied 13 kills on 35 swing with just four errors for a decent .257 hitting percentage.
Andrea Fett added 11 kills and
Amanda Pielstick, in her final collegiate match, had 18 digs.
Jessica Lehner had 29 assists and seven digs to pace CSUS.
Samantha Maxwell led Cal State Dominguez Hills with 20 kills and Hilary Hougardy had 21 digs for the Toros.
