SEASIDE -- Rheann Fall had 17 kills and 10 digs to lead Cal State Monterey Bay as the Otters beat Cal State Stanislaus in the CCAA volleyball opener Friday night.

The Otters won in straight sets, 25-20, 25-23, 25-10.

Lianne Vicchio led the Warriors with eight kills and 10 digs as Stanislaus ended a four-match winning streak to start conference play.

Both teams are 5-3 overall with Stanislaus traveling to face San Francisco State on Saturday. Cal State Monterey Bay will host Chico State.

Freshman Janay Bankston had six kills and senior libero Amanda Pielstick had 11 digs to pace the Warriors. Lauren Charles also had 10 digs.

Tifaney Riggs also had 10 kills for Monterey Bay.
