SAN FRANCISCO -- For the second straight night, the Cal State Stanislaus volleyball team's offense couldn't get much going against a conference opponent.
In the end, the Warriors return from the trip to the coast with a 0-2 California Collegiate Athletic Association record after a 3-0 loss to San Francisco State Saturday night.
The Gators, led by Beth Perkins with 11 kills, defeated Stanislaus, 25-13, 25-18, 28-17 to drop the Warriors to 5-4 overall. San Francisco State is now 8-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
Lianne Vicchio again led CSUS, this time with eight kills, but with just three digs.
Lauren Charles had 9 digs to lead the Warriors.
Colleen Sullivan had 17 assists and
Jennifer Marsh chipped in five kills.
Cal State Stanislaus will host Cal Poly Pomona and #2 Cal State San Bernardino next weekend at Warrior Arena.
