NAMPA, Idaho -- Kim DiNardo scored on a header with 1:18 left to play in the second overtime period as the Cal State Stanislaus women's soccer team beat Central Washington, 1-0, Saturday.

DiNardo's score came on a Heather Overholt corner kick at 108:42 to lift the Warriors to their third straight shutout. Stanislaus, now 3-0-0, has not allowed a goal in five matches including two exhibition contests this season.

"Heather hit a perfect corner kick and Kim did a fantastic job of getting her head on it," CSUS head coach Gabriel Bolton said.

Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Millie Brown, with the solid CSUS defense, was credited with the shutout win.

"Millie made some fantastic saves today to preserve the shutout," Bolton said. "The save she made with 10 minutes to go on a breakaway was big time and literally saved the game for us."

"It was not the prettiest game but I'm proud of how hard we battled. Sometimes you just have to grind out wins. That's what we did today," Bolton added.

Cal State Stanislaus opened with two 3-0 wins over Hawaii Hilo and Fresno Pacific at home last week and has now outscored opponents 9-0 including exhibition contests.

The Warriors, ranked No. 7 in the West Region, will take on Northwest Nazarene on Monday at 1 p.m. Mountain Time.
