TURLOCK– Cal State Stanislaus volleyball snaps a ten match losing streak against the Chico State, defeating the Wildcats in three sets (25-20, 25-14, 25-23).
This is the first time since 1999 that the Cal State Stanislaus has defeated the Wildcats at their home arena. The Warriors improve their record to 6-4 overall and 3-2 in the CCAA, while the Wildcats fall to 7-4 overall and 2-3 in the CCAA.
The Warriors once again out-served their opponent 13-4. Megan Britton led with 5 service aces, followed by Fett with 4 aces and Vicchio with 3 aces.
Leading the Wildcats was Alex Shurtz and Jessica Sims with 10 kills each. Sable Villaescusa recorded 33 assists on the night.
The Warriors look for their next win Friday night when they host Cal State East Bay at 7 p.m.
