LOS ANGELES — Natalia Gonzalez had 12 kills to lead Cal State L.A. over Cal State Stanislaus in straight sets in a CCAA women's volleyball match Friday night.
Cal State L.A. improved to 7-8 overall and 4-6 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association after the 25-12, 25-20, 25-20 match.
Lianne Vicchio led the Warriors with nine kills but Cal State Stanislaus dropped to 7-7 overall and 3-8 in the CCAA. The Warriors hope to rebound on Saturday with a match at Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Janay Bankston chipped in seven for the Warriors.
Jaclyn Pinasco led Stanislaus with 10 digs.
The Golden Eagles was hot on offense as they hit a .394 clip (48 for 94 with 11 errors). Six players had five or more kills. Chelsea Hamilton chipped in 10 kills for Cal State L.A.
