Box Score TURLOCK -- A goal early in overtime from forward Karenee Demery nabbed another victory for the No. 6 Warriors, who beat the San Francisco State Gators, 3-2, Friday night at Warrior Stadium.

The victory brings the Warrior women's record to 12-1-0 (8-1-0 in the CCAA North). The win also extends the longest winning streak in program history to 10 wins. The Warriors are still undefeated against San Francisco State in the last 18 meetings, now with a 14-0-4 record.

"San Francisco State really battled hard and made it a tough game for us," head coach Gabriel Bolton said. "I'm really proud of our women. They were persistent and kept playing, and really willed themselves to win tonight."

The Warriors and the Gators battled throughout the first half, with two goals scored by each team. Allison Case and Sabrina Williamson scored for the Warriors, and Nicole Vanni and Elizet Ceja scored for the Gators.

Williamson's scored her first collegiate goal in the 42nd minute as the equalizer after SF State gone ahead 2-1 on goals by Vanni and Elizet Ceja during a five-plus minute span. The Gators' goals were quick responses to Allison Case's score at 24:19. Three goals were scored in a frenzy stretch of a little over seven minutes of play.

The second half was relatively quiet for both teams, with only five shots from the Gators and four from the Warriors.

However, the Warriors needed just two-and-a-half minutes into the overtime period to score the winner. Bernie Bettencourt sent in a cross to Demery, who blasted the ball into the top right corner of the net for her CCAA leading 14th goal of the season.

"The goal was fantastic," Bolton said. "Our team knows how to play in the big moments and win the game."

Emily Relles picked up two more assists tonight and now leads the CCAA with 11. She assisted on goals by Case and Williamson. Karli Nestler also helped out on the Willamson header score.

The next matchup for the Warriors is against Cal Poly Pomona, who they will play in the Warrior Stadium on Sunday at 2 p.m.
