SEASIDE — The Cal State Stanislaus men's soccer team gets back on the winning ways with a 2-0 win over Cal State Monterey Bay Friday afternoon.

Schad TenBroeck led the Warriors to the victory as they improved to 5-2-2 overall and 3-2-2 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. Cal State Monterey Bay falls to 1-8 overall and 1-7 in the CCAA.
With the victory, the Warriors keep pace with North Division front-runners Chico State and Sonoma State. The Warriors also beat the Otters, 2-0, in Turlock back on Sept. 16.
The win is the Warriors' first in Seaside in three tries (1-1-1) and the team's first conference win on the road in 2012 (1-1-1). Stanislaus has been looking forward to playing more contests as the Warriors played in just two matches over the two previous weekend.
The Warriors will return home before traveling to Hayward for a 11:30 a.m. match on Sunday against Cal State East Bay.
Guzman, who also assisted on the TenBroeck score, got Stanislaus on the board at 10:12 when he knocked in a
Nolan Holdridge direct kick. TenBroeck scored in the 31st minute to give the Warriors a 2-0 lead.
Cal State Stanislaus out-shot Cal State Monterey Bay 14-11.
