TURLOCK — In a frantic way, the visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros took a 3-1 win over 13th ranked Cal State Stanislaus in women's soccer Friday night.

The Toros scored three goals during a four-minute stretch to upset the Warriors in both teams' California Collegiate Athletic Association opener at Warrior Stadium. CSUDH, which ended a two-match skid to Stanislaus, improved to 2-0-1 overall while Stanislaus dropped to 2-1-0.

Jordan Moineau scored her first collegiate goal for Stanislaus in the 88th minute to help the team avoid the shutout. Karli Nestler assisted on the play.

"I was really impressed with our play for the majority of the game," Warriors head coach Gabriel Bolton said. "We knew they would be a physical direct team and I like how we handled the match."

For the Warriors, it was the first time they had allowed three goals since Oct. 2 — and it all happend pretty quickly Friday night.

Ani Eishoei knocked in the first score at 73:17. A miscue defensively in the box gave CSUDH a second score. Kayley Evans followed for the third score in the 78th minute for a 3-0 Toros lead. Ford also assisted on the Eishoei goal.

"Their first goal was completely against the run of play. Give them credit for creating goals," said Bolton.

Aside from that four-plus minute stretch, Cal State Stanislaus looked like the 2011 CCAA Championship team. The Warriors made a few great runs — including two scores that were voided by offsides calls in the second half. The home team especially dominated the first half but came up empty.

Goalkeepers Millie Brown (CSUS) and Tiffany Hollis (CSUDH) each picked up four saves.

"We learned a lot about ourselves tonight and I am confident we will bounce back," added Bolton.

Cal State L.A. (2-0-1) is the Warriors' next opponent when the two square off on Sunday at 2 p.m. The Golden Eagles beat Chico State, 4-1, in Chico.
