Box Score SAN FRANCISCO — The Warriors ran into an all of a sudden hot team inside The Swamp as host San Francisco State took the CCAA match, 3-1, Saturday night.

The Gators seemingly could do no wrong, especially in the early-goings of the match to improve to 8-6 overall and 3-3 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

San Francisco State hit .538 in the first set en route to the 25-10, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17 win.

Meanwhile, the Warriors took a little bit of time getting going and put-up a great set in the third before falling to 4-11 overall and 1-6 in conference play.

Blair Ehrlich led the Warriors with nine kills, Jordan Harris had eight and Jocelyn Cervantes seven. However, as a team, Stanislaus posted a .070 attacking percentage. Sarah Crowl had a game-best 26 digs and Hannah Green dished 27 assists.

In the third set, Harris put away four of her kills to lead the Warriors jump out to a commanding lead. The Warriors led at 21-12 to force a SF State timeout, which turned the momentum. The Gators went on a 9-1 run to make it 22-21 to force a second CSUS timeout.

The Warriors used some SFSU attacking errors and a service error to win the third, 25-23. Ehrlich also had three kills in the third set and the Warriors had 27 of the 64 digs in the third alone.

SFSU was led by four players in double figures in kills with Jaclyn Clark, Kelly Ostello and Meagan Wright each with 11 kills.

Cal State Stanislaus will finally return home to play a pair of conference matches, first with Cal State L.A. on Thursday night at Fitzpatrick Arena.
