Box Score LOS ANGELES — After dropping the first two sets, the Warriors put together a tremendous third set and rallied before coming up short in losing to Cal State L.A. in straight sets, 25-16, 25-18, 27-25, Friday night.
Blair Ehrlich had nine kills,
Jocelyn Cervantes added eight and
Paige Walker chipped in seven but Cal State Stanislaus dropped to 7-20 overall and 4-15 in California Collegiate Athletic Association play.

Already trailing two sets to none, the Warriors found themselves down 11-4 to start the third, but they rallied and stayed close. Using a 14-7 run, the Warriors tied the set at 18-18.
A couple of LA attacking errors and kills by Cervantes and Harris lifted Stanislaus late to a 24-22 lead. However, the Golden Eagles held off set-point before a 25-all score. Kills by CSULA's Loreal Carter and Alexandra Bura eventually ended the match.
Cal State L.A. improved to 15-12 overall and 10-9 in the CCAA. The Golden Eagles were led by Iona Lofrano who ended up with 13 kills while Bethanee Boggs added 11.
