Box Score SEASIDE - The Cal State Stanislaus volleyball team lost its fourth straight since beating San Francisco State on the road as the Warriors weree handed a 3-0 loss at Cal State Monterey Bay Saturday night.
Janai Johnson had 11 kills and Jessica Malcom put-away 10 to lead the Otters as they improved to 6-13 overall and 6-9 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association after the 25-16, 25-20, 25-20 contest.
The Warriors (2-17, 2-13 CCAA) were led by
Paige Walker, who had eight kills and eight digs.
Lindsay Skadeland spiked seven and
Blair Ehrlich had six kills.
Rachel Parsons was the full time setter in the match and had 25 assists while
Sarah Crowl started at libero and recorded 16 digs.
Hailey Gruetzmacher had four service aces.
Cal State Monterey Bay dominated from the start and hit a .464 attacking percentage in the first set with 14 kills on 28 attempts and one error. The Otters ended up with a .337 hitting percentage.
The Warriors will be home next week, including hosting the Halloween night match against Cal State San Bernardino Friday night.
