Blair Ehrlich returned to her strong-form Tuesday night as she led Cal State Stanislaus in the first match of a three-match week at Chico State before the Warriors dropped a four-set match on the road at Chico State.
Ehrlich had 16 kills against the Wildcats, matching her season-high, to help the Warriors win a set for the first time since beating San Francisco State on Oct. 11 — a string of eight matches. Despite dropping to 2-20 overall and 2-16 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association, the Warriors posted a strong effort in the 25-21, 25-15, 23-25, 25-17.
As a freshman, Ehrlich had 19 double-digit kill matches with a career high of 27. This season the sophomore slumped and Tuesday's 16-kill match was her first double-digit total since 12 on Oct. 17 against Cal Poly Pomona. Ehrlich had 16 kills back on Sept. 20 when the Warriors defeated Cal State East Bay.

Rachel Parsons had a career high with 43 assists.
Also contributing offensively were
Taylor Massengale with 10 kills on 21 tries for a .429 attacking percentage.
Lindsay Skadeland chippe din nine kills.
On defense,
Hailey Gruetzmacher had 20 digs and
Jocelyn Cervantes 18. Massengale and Skadeland each also had two block assists.
Chico State, 11-11 and 9-9 CCAA, was led by Ellie Larronde's 17 kills.
The Warriors play twice more this week on the road with a trip to the Los Angeles area. They face Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday and Cal State L.A. on Saturday.
