A "Sick" Career Night: Kirsten Coleman had a career night on Sunday despite recovering from a fever. The senior forward came off the bench and scored a hat-trick in the Warriors' 4-0 win over UC Santa Cruz after not even knowing if she would be able to play up until game time. Coleman scored twice during a 39-second stretch spanning over two halves (with 8 seconds left in the first half and 31 seconds into the second half) and added a third goal in the 75th minute. It was her first 3-goal game of her career.

Speaking of Career Goals: Kirsten Coleman and Jade Poon each has five goals to lead the team this season and both have added to their career goal totals. Coleman now has 26 and Poon 25 while both looking up to surpass Marti Teunissen's 28 (2003-06).

Nice Gestures: The UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs show their appreciation for the Warriors' support on Sunday by presenting the team flowers and a thank you note, signed by every member of the team. Last spring, upon hearing the possible discountination of the athletics programs at UC Santa Cruz, the Warriors wrote and sent letters of support to the UC chancellor.

Making Up Ground: This weekend is a good chance for the Warriors to make up some ground in the CCAA standings as they are facing two teams in tied for fifth place (and the ultimately the final two CCAA tournament berths). Stan State, with three points, will face two teams each with 10 points in the standings. The Warriors do have eight conference matches remaining.

About Cal Poly Pomona: The Broncos earned a comeback win at Chico State on Sunday winning 2-1 in overtime … Sydney Yates leads the team with three goals and two assists for eight points. She assisted on the OT game-winner on Sunday … Ricki Ives has a 1.21 GAA and .755 saves percentage and has played every minute for the Broncos.

About Cal State San Bernardino: The Coyotes have won two straight to improve to 3-2-1 in CCAA play … They are coming off a 3-1 win at Chico State from Friday … Susan Ibarra and Rachel Figg each has three goals. Ibarra also has three assists … Megan Vina is 4-2-1 witha  1.11 GAA (.818 saves percentage).
