This week the Warriors are back at home for their final two home matches of the season. They will take on Cal State San Marcos on Friday, and UC San Diego on Saturday.

Team Records: 10-13, 7-7 CCAA [CCAA Standings]

Friday

Saturday
Warriors vs. UC San Diego (12-10, 9-5 CCAA), Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena, Turlock, 7 p.m. | [Live Stats] [Live Video]

Series Notes: This marks the first time that the Warriors are challenging both the Cougars and the Tritons this season. Cal State San Marcos is only in their second season since joining the CCAA last year. In 2015 the Warriors faced the Cougars twice, winning at home and losing in San Marcos…The Warriors have faced the Tritons a total of 31 times in the past 15 years. During those 15 seasons, the Tritons were ranked nationally in 13 of them. Stan State has a 3-28 record against UC San Diego, with their last victory over the Tritons landing back in 2010.

Home Record: This weekend the Warriors will be competing in their last two home matches of the season, which may pose an advantage, as the Warriors often perform better in Turlock. Stan state has been fortunate enough to play over half of their conference matches on their home court, as well as hosting a preseason tournament at home. The Warriors have a 7-6 record at home, and a 2-5 record when they travel.

Senior Night: This Saturday night the Stan State coaches will be honoring their six seniors. Each of the seniors have been major contributors to the success of the Warriors the past few years. Jocelyn Cervantes is in her fifth year at Stan State, and has been a dedicated Warrior for each of her five seasons. Paige Walker, Blair Ehrlich, and Taylor Massengale all came to the program together in 2013, and have been key players for the Warriors ever since their arrival. Lindsay Skadeland and Maddi Seidl were both transfer students to Stan State. Skadeland came from San Jose State in 2014, and Seidl joined the Warriors from North Idaho College in 2015. Both Skadeland and Seidl have been valuable additions to Warrior volleyball.

Conference Tournament: Currently the Warriors stand as the fourth team in the CCAA North Division. As the top four teams in each division continue to the conference tournament, the Warriors find themselves at a pivotal point in their season. Cal State Monterey Bay and Humboldt State trail behind the Warriors, both with 5-9 conference records. The final two weeks of regular season play will be crucial for the Warriors, hoping to keep their bid into the conference tournament.

About Cal State San Marcos: Currently the Cougars are being led by Brooke Butler on offense with 2.68 kills per set. Madi Anderson follows just behind Butler with 2.63 kills per set. Facilitating Cal State San Marcos' offense is setter Aleese Wheaton with an average of 8.98 assists per set. In the back row, Samantha Flores leads the Cougars defense with 4.49 digs per set.

About UC San Diego: Outside hitter Megan Wright leads the front row for the Tritons with 3.92 kills per set. Jessyca Beksa adds to the Tritons offense with 2.71 kills per set. On defense, libero Lindsay Chun leads UC San Diego with 4.30 digs per set. Wright also contributes to the Tritons back row with 3.63 digs per set, and three other Tritons also add two or more digs per set.
