TURLOCK — Nick Voumard came out of the bullpen to shut down a hot-hitting Otters team and Nick Molina had a huge day at the plate as the Warriors rallied from behind to beat Cal State Monterey Bay, 10-9, Saturday afternoon.The Warriors trailed 8-0 after 2 1/2 innings but chipped away for the victory to hand CSUMB, the fourth ranked team in the region, its first loss. Stanislaus State improve to 7-2 overall and 6-0 at home. Voumard came in in relief of starter Tyler Murphy and was dominate. He threw seven innings and gave up just one unearned run on four hits and struck out nine batters to keep Stan State in the game.Meanwhile, the Warriors' offense kept pounding away. Molina ended up 4-for-4 on the day, including a homer and a double, with five runs batted in to lead the Warriors. The first baseman also scored three times.A two-run homer by Erik Colombini keyed a four-run third inning that started the Stanislaus comeback. Then, the Warriors tagged on two more runs in the fifth to get within 8-6. In the seventh, a solo homer by Molina cut the deficit down to a single run to set-up a dramatic eighth inning.Stanislaus State benefited from three CSUMB errors in the eighth inning and a two-run double off the centerfield wall by Molina plated

Michael Chavarria for the game-tying and winning runs to complete the rally.
Voumard went out for the ninth inning and got two grounders and a strikeout to secure the win. Voumard finished the game retiring the final seven batters — and 9 of the final 10 Otters — he faced. He only got into trouble once, in the Otters sixth that allowed CSUMB to scored its ninth run on a throwing error.
Monterey Bay had jumped out on top with a five-run second highlighted by a two-run bomb by Hayden Duer. Myles Hager also doubled in a run. The Otters added three more runs in the third on a walk and three straight singles to chase Murphy.
Also helping out the offense was
Kyle Nixon who went 2-for-5 with a double.
Nick Ippolito, who scored twice, also doubled.
The teams will play another non-conference game on Sunday in Seaside with the first pitch scheduled at 2 p.m.
