This week the Warriors will be headed to Chico State on Thursday before making the trek to Arcata to take on Humboldt State on Friday night.

Series Notes: The Warriors are 13-30 against Chico State, beating the Wildcats earlier this month on Oct. 7th. Stan State took home the win at home in four sets. Alana Wilson-Reid led the Warriors in the front row with 15 kills and six blocks ... The Warriors are 13-11 against the Lumberjacks and will be facing them for the first time this season. Last year Stan State swept Humboldt State at home and lost in four sets in Arcata.

Warrior Accomplishments: During Saturday night's match against Cal State East Bay five Warriors set new personal bests for the 2017 season. Two players increased their kill average, Yisel Perez totaling 18 kills, seven kills higher than her previous best, and Sierra Adams had 14 kills, two higher than her previous best. Running the offense solo, Breanna Cannon increased her season best by more than 10 assists totaling 53 assists against the Pioneers. Cannon's previous best was 41 assists against Chico State on Oct. 7th. On defense, as libero Sara Schell increased her season high from 16 digs to 23 digs against CSUEB, and Ramey Gardner increased her best by one with 12 digs against the Pioneers. 

About Chico State: Outside hitter Bekah Boyle leads the Wildcats offense with an average of 2.88 kills per set. Setters McKenna Carroll and Nicole Desrochers split time running Chico State's offense, Carroll leading with 5.45 assists per set on average and Desrochers with 4.82 assists per set. Defensive Specialist Brooke Fogel leads on defense with 3.84 digs per set and libero Tristen Thompson follows with 3.69 digs per set. 

About Humboldt State: Leading the Jacks in the front row is outside hitter Lauren Reid who averages 3.02 kills per set. Splitting time facilitating the Humboldt State offense, Jessica Lammers averages 5.15 assists per set and Taylor Yancey averages 5 assists per set. Sarah Shively is the Lumberjacks lead defender with an average of 4.37 digs per set.
