This week the Warrior volleyball team will travel to the CCAA South to challenge Cal Poly Pomona on Friday and Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday.

Series Notes: Stan State is 9-27 against Cal Poly Pomona, taking home two of those wins in the past two years. Last season the Warriors swept the Broncos at home, and defeated CPP in four sets at home in 2015 ... Stan State is 3-35 against the Coyotes, losing to CSUSB twice last year. The Warriors defeated Cal State San Bernardino last in 2015 on senior night in five sets. 

Warrior Tid-Bits: Yisel Perez set a new personal best against the Lumberjacks last Friday, posting 27 digs in just four sets. Her previous best was 16 digs against Cal State East Bay on Oct. 14 ... Having a dominant night at the net, both Alana Wilson-Reid and Sierra Adams set new personal bests at Humboldt State. Wilson-Reid led with nine blocks against the Jacks and Adams had eight blocks against HSU. 

About Cal Poly Pomona: Andrea Bosnic leads the Broncos offense with 2.94 kills per set and Alexandra Gresham follows with 2.54 kills per set. Alina Smith is the Broncos' playmaker, facilitating Cal Poly Pomona's offense with 7.40 assists per set. On defense, Samantha Figueroa and Alexandria Bollier lead in the back row. Figueroa averages 3.60 digs per set and Bollier averages 3.55 digs per set. 

About Cal State San Bernardino: Leading the Jacks in the front row is Lauren Nicholson who averages 4.00 kills per set, falling in second in the CCAA. Nicholson is also second in the conference averaging 4.26 points per set. Setters Diana Maile and Jayann DeHoog split time running the Coyotes offense, Maile averaging 7.78 assists per set and DeHoog with an average of 7.14 assists per set. At the net Hailey Jackson averages 1.14 blocks per set, and Leilia To'Omalatai is the leading defender for CSUSB with 4.14 digs per set.
