This week Stan State volleyball will host a make-up match against Sonoma State on Wednesday night, and honor its four seniors in their final home match of the season against Humboldt State on Saturday night.

Hailey Gruetzmacher and
Rebecca Conley joined the Warrior squad back in 2014. Gruetzmacher was a three-year starter for her team before sitting out due to an injury this season. She's had 833 digs in her career and is currently eighth on the Warriors' career top ten list with that total … After redshirting her freshman season and sitting out due to multiple injuries, Conley made her debut on the court this season. A middle blocker, Conley has tallied 23 kills and 21 blocks this season … In her second season as a Warrior, Stan State's final senior,
Sara Schell, is the Warriors' most versatile player. Schell has totaled 115 kills and 325 digs in her two-year career at Stan State.
About Sonoma State:  Outside hitter Caiti Wiesner is currently leading the Seawolves' offense with an average of 3.19 kills per set, and setter Courtney Seda heads up Sonoma's offense with 11.01 assists per set. In the back row, Megan Bohorquez leads with 4.68 digs per set … As a team, Sonoma State leads the conference with an average of 13.84 kills per set, and are second in the CCAA with a 2.47 hitting percentage. The Seawolves also lead the conference with 12.98 assists per set … Last weekend SSU traveled to southern California, losing to both Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State L.A in five sets.
About Humboldt State: Humboldt State's offensive leader is outside hitter Lauren Reid, averaging 2.91 kills per set. Setters Jessica Lammers and Taylor Yancey split time running the Jacks' offense, Lammers averaging 5.07 assists per set and Yancey with 4.76 assists per set. On defense, libero Sarah Shively leads with 4.52 digs per set … The Lumberjacks had a bye weekend last week, and last saw the court against the Warriors and Chico State on Oct. 20
